CNC Setup Technicians compensate feeds and speeds during job runs and keep the programmer apprised of any changes while reading and understanding blueprints and setup sheets. Technicians setup (with and without vices or fixtures), operate, download and upload programs to complete tasks. Assisting a Sr. CNC programmer to keep optimum machine up time is required. Being willing to assist in all tool room activities to produce the most sophisticated tooling in the industry is required.

2nd Shift 3:45p - 2:15a Monday - Thursday

What you need:

• Technical school degree or equivalent military or industrial experience
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Advanced shop math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Self-motivating and able to work with minimum supervision
• Very detail oriented
• Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Assist in all aspect of tool build to prepare tooling for production

We have a “School to Tool” program that will allow you to work full-time or as many hours as you can while going to technical school for this position. You can work in our “State of the Art” tool room earning a great wage, enjoying a full-time benefits package while also earning your degree and setting yourself up for advancement.
