Spec's Wines, Spirits, and Finer Foods is in search of dynamic, energetic, guest focused staff to provide exceptional service to our customers at our store in Giddings.

We are a Texas-based, family-owned company that provides exceptional guest service, great prices, and an extensive selection of products in a fun and exciting environment.

The ideal candidates will have previous retail experience as well as liquor, spirits and wine knowledge. You must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and lift, pull, push merchandise, be fast on your feet and able to stand long periods of time.

TABC Seller/Server certification required. All applicants must be 21 years older.

Third Key Holder - Second Assistant -

Rate of Pay: $17 p/h

The individuals who perform this job support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving all store objectives including maximizing sales, ensuring team member productivity, assisting in payroll controls, and driving overall profitability in the store. They directly supervise sales staff, stockers, cashiers, receivers, and all other non-management team members. In addition to supervisory duties, they assist as needed throughout the store and are proficient at all in-store functions.

Must have open availability. Industry experience a plus, management experience required. The ideal candidate will have excellent guest service skills, lead by example, develop team members to maximize sales, support all company directives, and be dedicated to the company's core values. Experience in wine and spirits retail is preferred. 2 plus years of a retail supervisory role is required.

The perfect candidate will be customer service driven, be able to work well with management and staff, have open availability to work all shifts, holidays and weekends too. This role does require you to provide staff support and supervision and provide excellent service to our customers.

Schedules will vary, but you must have flexible schedule and you must be able to work morning, days, evenings and weekends, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. We are closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
