Sagebrush Church is a multisite church based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sagebrush offers a casual environment where people can experience contemporary worship and teaching from the Bible. The mission of Sagebrush is to know Christ and to make Christ known.

We are currently searching for a cleaning professional who will ensure our main church location is cleaned with excellence and all health and safety cleaning practices are in place; this may be done between events, services, and various activities. This person will work alongside a team of highly qualified maintenance team members.

ESSENTIAL PROFILE

Individual Profile needs seasoned believer, teachable spirit, time managing, team-oriented and servant leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform various cleaning activities, including main worship cleanliness, restroom cleanliness, trash disposal, general office dusting, sweeping, and polishing.
• Set up rooms for meetings, events, or conferences, including stacking chairs, arranging tables, and coordinating equipment as needed.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of church-related practices.
• May attend large events such as weddings, funerals, concerts, and annual events to provide ongoing custodial support and stay after to clean up.
• Manage stock levels of consumables and replace low inventory, keep and maintain the organization of custodial closets.
• Work closely with the facilities manager to report any damages, defects, and maintenance issues that need to be addressed quickly.
• On occasion, you may perform light maintenance and grounds duty.
• Ability to work the following schedule: Wed to Fri: 7 am to 3:30m, Sat: 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and Sun: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
• Take on any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and are in alignment with our church values.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and enjoy a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and practices.
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment, such as buffers and polishers.
• Must be proactive, attending to issues and problems before they are brought up or requested.
• Have an eye for detail, this is crucial to ensuring our church facility is cleaned with excellence, which honors God.
• Comfortable being self-directed and able to complete all custodial duties with little to no supervision.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to varying schedules and levels of work required from week to week.
