Candidate must be friendly and outgoing, enjoy helping people, possess a strong focus on customer service, have reliable attendance, be a team player, display a positive attitude, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi task, pay close attention to detail, and follow through on tasks to completion. Candidate must also be eager and willing to learn new things and develop themselves professionally. Radiology certification preferred. Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus! Dental Assistant duties include:

• welcoming patients, creating a warm, caring & comfortable environment,
• preparing operatories for the doctor and the hygienist
• preparing patients for the doctor and they hygienist; taking radiographs,
• assisting dentist with exams & procedures, documenting findings, procedure notes, and recommended treatment
• helping patients understand treatment necessity & options,
• explaining post- visit home care instructions,
• communicating to front desk treatment completed &/or planned, & next steps
• maintain accurate, complete, organized patient records,
• sterilizing instruments, setting up instruments, equipment & material for procedures,
• cleaning & stocking dental operatories, dental lab, & office
• preparing, shipping & receiving lab cases
• answering phones, responding to emails,
• scheduling patients, confirming appointments, verifying insurance & labs,
