Position Available for a Full-time Dining Room Supervisor!
Must be available to work weekends
Salary starts at $21.00/hr
We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Supervises dining room personnel on all shifts; staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of dining room staff.
- Selects, trains, evaluates and recommends/carries out discipline of all dining room personnel as required.
- Assigns specific job and spot checking to ensure standards are met.
- Follows policies and procedures related to safety and health, which includes but is not limited to knowing where the SDS (safety data sheets) and other safety information and protective equipment is kept and how to use them, Infection Control, proper lifting techniques, and the policies and procedures of the Emergency Operation Plan.
- Promotes team work within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, speak and write the English language in order to communicate effectively.
- Computer literacy: MS Word and Excel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work indoors; light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time
- Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the work day; ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently
