Essential duties and responsibilities
- Distribute work assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Provide necessary support to ensure warehouse and transportation schedules are attained.
- Heavy interaction with warehouse operators, carriers and warehouse logistics team.
- Schedule daily workload and department personnel.
- Review carrier paperwork for accuracy.
- Maintain necessary documentation and files.
- Assist in monitoring department and individual employee performance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle numerous telephone calls
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organization skills and logical thinking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in computer programs including Excel and Word.
- Excellent follow through on daily tasks and projects.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
