Seven Mile Café is searching for an Expo for our restaurant!

We are an innovative AM eatery specializing in top-notch service and amazing menu items. We feature a full espresso bar with awesome morning coffee and alcohol options, plus a pet-friendly outdoor patio! Most of the menu is made from scratch and offers a unique twist on the classics. We go to great lengths to offer numerous options for guests that are vegan or gluten sensitive. We are looking for talented individuals who take pride in their work and have a positive attitude. JOB DESCRIPTION

This position impacts the company by supporting a team, creating great guest experiences, ensuring correct food is prepared, plated, and served to the guest.

YOU WILL:

• Create a sense of community with guests.

• Stage tickets based on time of order (FIFO) to control the flow of food in the restaurant.

• Communicate with kitchen to ensure food is prepared and plated correctly as per order.

• Monitor speed of kitchen and helps adjust as necessary.

• Read each ticket and inspect plates to ensure food is prepared and plated correctly as per order.

• Ensure the correct drinks and food ordered are delivered to the guest/table.

• Resolve guest complaints, investigate problems, and identify solutions.

• Develop strong working relationships within the team.

WE SEEK:

• Customer-centric, committed to supporting the customer.

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

• Minimum one (1) + year of customer service experience, required.

• Must possess proper food handler certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
