Restaurant Information:

Our dining room is the only restaurant on the North Shore that provides a dining experience from a third story height offering panoramic views of Lake Superior. Our “Chophouse” takes the traditional steakhouse to new levels by embracing “North Shore Cuisine” as part of the concept. Our company believes in offering unique experiences and our concept is nothing less than an experience you can only have here on the North Shore as part of a visit to the resort!

Resort Information:

Superior Shores Resort & Conference Center is the largest resort on the North Shore by “room count” and sister to the largest resort on the North Shore by “pillow count”; Lutsen Resort. Superior Shores also has the privilege of being the only Resort with a true Event Center. The highlight of our property is our thousands of feet of shoreline that our name pays tribute too. Our location is truly the gateway to the North Shore being the first resort after Two Harbors on Scenic Highway 61. Our resort offers lodging in 3 different properties overlooking two different bays and a cove. We offer a large onsite restaurant, multiple pools and fitness facilities and an array of amenities and offerings. Winter is spent hosting snowmobilers and avid users of our Infinity Ice Skating Rink that spans 180 feet, summer is spent exploring our 2,000 foot pebble beach. We truly have an amazing property and take pride in offering the best possible guest experience!

Mission: To excel in an environment where the guest comes first and all aspects of the job are done in a professional manner with the focus on providing a 5 star guest service experience at all times.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

· Studying and obtaining full knowledge of our training and procedural documents including our 24 steps of service; an enhanced version of the traditional 12 steps of service

· Learn and adopt our company’s “Standards of Service”

· Tending to our guests dining experience from the first greeting to the farewell in a manner that showcases 5 star service

· Tending to the non-service related daily, weekly and monthly tasks of the dining room in regards to cleanliness, room presentation, and care of fixtures and equipment

· Ensure that you are always showcasing your uniform and dress code in professional manner

· Execution of immaculate beverage service

· Showcase a well versed knowledge of wines and our current wine menu

Reporting Structure:

· This position reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director and management designees of the department
