Tropic Supply, the largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration wholesale distributor in Florida, seeks a Receptionist as the Director of First Impressions to guide our customers and team members to the right places! Snapshot of key accountabilities:

• Own the operation of the company's phone system, as we do not have any voicemails, and every call needs your attention.
• Greet visitors at the Home (Corporate) office and welcome them.
• Act as an ambassador of Tropic's core values and ensure all visitors and callers are treated with respect
• Efficiently screen and route calls and inquiries to the appropriate resource center or department.
• Coordinate the use of the company's conference rooms
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail, schedule courier pick-ups
• Assist with records maintenance
• Ensure that the reception area is kept clean and organized
• Additional duties as needed

The ideal Front Desk/Receptionist thrives in a fast-paced environment and connects quickly with others in a warm, poised, and enthusiastic way. You enjoy helping others, building and maintaining relationships, and working independently. This role requires a highly dependable team player who can communicate effectively with individuals seeking assistance and information.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

• Minimum one year of switchboard or reception duties in a high call volume setting
• Exceptional communication skills and customer service abilities
• Bilingual candidates with speaking skills in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Mac OS, or other comparable platforms preferred
