Job Summary

Leads the day-to-day Fuel Facilities and hydrant fueling systems operations. Responsible for assisting, counseling, training, and supervising Fuel Facilities personnel. Ensures safe on-time fueling operation, customers’ coordination, and interface. Enforces all applicable regulations, policies, quality control, and safety practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe receipt of jet fuel from pipeline in accordance with ATA 103, and Swissport Policy.
  • Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and housekeeping of Fuel Facilities pipeline, tanks, and hydrant systems.
  • Responsible for completing parts, supplies, and equipment purchase orders.
  • Responsible for supervision training and assisting Fuel Facilities personnel.
  • Responsible for enforcing all applicable regulations policy and safety practices
  • Accept petroleum products into Fuel Facilities in accordance with ATA 103 established procedures and quality controls.
  • Perform quality control for Fuel Facilities inspecting fuel, personnel, and equipment in accordance with ASTM, ATA 103, state, government, NFPA 407 and Swissport standards.
  • Ensure integrity of fuel hydrant systems in accordance with ATA 103 requirements.
  • Maintain fuel inventories levels to meet maintenance and airline requirements.
  • Perform periodic and scheduled inspections in accordance to ATA 103 and NFPA standards.
  • Assist Pipeline Mechanics in repair and maintenance of fuel systems and components.
  • Manage the calibration of equipment including turn-ins and vendor communications.
  • Review and maintain all fuel facilities records and inspection forms in accordance with ATA 103.
  • Complete paperwork as instructed by Fuel Facilities Managers.
  • Ensure the safe operations and inspections of equipment, vehicles and systems while documenting and reporting all discrepancies.
  • Provide and document all training for current and newly hired Fuel Facilities personnel.
  • Responsible for optimizing manpower and equipment utilization, making spot change as required by changing workflow.
  • Respond to and work in emergency conditions including fuel spills and cleanup operations.
  • Drive company vehicles to multiple work locations to perform various tasks.
  • Participate in all Airline, FAA, TSA, AZCC, and other regulatory audits.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years experience of fueling operations
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good oral and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
