The Santa Lucia Preserve is looking for hard working, enthusiastic Greenskeepers to help maintain a Top 100 Golf Course and surrounding club landscapes. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player.

We offer:

• Full-time work
• 6.30 am - 2:30 pm weekday shifts with 6:30 am - 10:30 am weekend shifts every other weekend
• Van transportation to and from work available

Requirements:

• Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary
• Willingness to work diligently
• Must report to work on time and have excellent attendance
• Professional demeanor, ethical behavior
• Able to lift or move up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Work well in groups and with a variety of team members
• Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time

Responsibilities include:

• Operate small mowing and trimming equipment, utility vehicles, and other motorized equipment
• Raking and weed removal in sand traps
• Manually load and unload trucks and trailers
• Walk mowing greens and tees
• Plant seeds and lay sod
• Expose underground irrigation components for repair and fills and levels holes
• Hand watering as required
• Operate back pack blowers and string trimmers
