$38 - $42 per hour (Temp to Perm)
Prestigious expanding hospital/healthcare conglomerate (position located in Newburgh, NY) is now seeking entrepreneur with 2 + years purchasing/procurement/buying and solutions experience. (hospital/healthcare environment a plus) Review/monitors approved purchase requisitions for accuracy, pricing trends, maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials and prices. Develop and maintain working relationships with external (vendors) and internal customers to maintain adequate sources of supply in accordance with corporate policies and procedures to obtain the most cost effective/quality products and services. Ability to work well with other members of team to efficiently implement accepted product conversions, system changes, solutions, and process improvement. Responsible for diversified hospital purchasing activities, ensuring on time supply delivery, transportation expense control for inbound materials and purchase order life cycle as well as cost saving initiatives. Responsible for ensuring high quality, cost–effective product or service is delivered in support of the client core values and strategic plans. Position Reports directly to VP of Purchasing and Supply Chain. Knowledge of supply chain a plus. MS Suite.
