Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR) and the HR-Shared Services Organization serves the entire Health System campus. The incumbent’s primary responsibilities will include supporting the HR Recruitment Coordinators and Records Analysts with hire and on-boarding processes, post hire processes, administration of the UCDHS Service Award Program, maintenance of Employee Personnel Files and associated actions, subpoena management, and will support the work of student assistant employees.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with HR recruitment and administrative support experience, and working understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience with HR tools such as ATS and HRIS, and the ability to learn new systems and processes for
  • recruitment/employment efforts.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, especially US immigration laws affecting the legal right to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with others as part of a team while being able to take full responsibility for a task.
  • Computer and keyboarding experience, especially with MS Office Suite applications, and web-based software.
  • Experience managing electronic, chronological, alphabetical, numerical, and subject filing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Oracle/PeopleSoft navigation and recruitment applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience and understanding of recruitment resources for healthcare industry occupations.
  • Knowledge of Federal and California State employment policies, procedures, laws, and guidelines.
  • Ability to learn and apply University of California policies, practices, and procedures.
