Here’s the Gist
:
In this role, as an HR Business Partner, you will assist in providing a wide range of HR partnership within the Global Operations organization in North Carolina. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees and leadership.

  • Collaborate with leaders to support the HR Department’s mission to be the company with the best talent, leaders and culture, at scale.
  • Develop rapport, build creditability and influence internal stakeholders and employees
  • Provide constant partnership and feedback to Business leaders at all levels to help them get the best out of their employees
  • Collaborate with other HRBPs, others in the greater HR organization, and corporate functions, to ensure effective people programs at the Operations site in NC
  • Collaborate as part of the NCF leadership team to support and instill the leadership and culture pillars of the organization
  • Consistently demonstrate, and reinforce in others, the Wolfspeed culture of integrity, ingenuity, and accountability
  • Support consistent application of HR programs, policies and practices.
  • Participate and facilitate activities that increase organizational performance including leadership effectiveness, operational performance, talent growth and teambuilding
  • Work on assigned programs and special projects on a regular basis

This Job is Right for You if You Have
(Minimum Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience including employee relations
  • Internal customer-facing experience + the ability to understand and navigate a multi-layered organizational structure
  • Exceptional people skills, including conflict resolution, coaching and negotiation abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and oral communication skills
  • A natural inquisitiveness/curiosity/questioning mindset
  • Experience accessing, compiling, and leveraging data and metrics. Proven technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of cultures, thinking styles, and approaches
  • The ability to connect and build partnerships with leaders, and be a catalyst for cross-functional collaboration
  • Passion for working in a team environment; shows resiliency and a sense of humor
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards for confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information
  • Ability to work at least 50% of working time on campus in Durham, NC
