Position summary: This role provides full spectrum human resources support to all employees, as well as supporting the Human Resources Manager and department in executing tasks for our employees such as employee relations, exit interviews, attendance policy management, performance improvement case management and compliance.
Qualifications required:
- Associate's degree with three to five years of Human Resources experience
- Performed human resources functions in a manufacturing industry (Preferred not required)
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Benefits management and administration including participation in the annual renewal negotiations/structure, development and implementation of open enrollment and routine enrollment, modifications, terminations and COBRA;
- Ensuring thorough and timely processing of employment documentation; and supporting managers in responding to employee needs.
- Intake and managing of LOAs including FMLA, PLA, SMNA etc.
- Intake and managing of Worker's Comp claims
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures
- Personnel file maintenance both manually, and via HRIS (Ascentis)
- Preparing for and participating in regulatory audits as well as conducting periodic internal audits and corporate administrative duties as needed (Coverage for the HR Assistant/ Reception area during breaks, scheduled and nonscheduled time out of the office).
- Collaborate with Production Manager and Quality on Employee Safety

- Experience and knowledge in Human Resources disciplines including but not limited to Employee Relations, Recruiting, Benefits Administration, Workers Compensation and Leave of Absence, ADA, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Self-directed and motivated
- Strong conflict management skills, able to effectively resolve conflict with a positive outcome
