Immigration Assistant - The Woodlands Texas Job at Nelson Wire and Steel
We are looking for a motivated Immigration Assistant, for this role requires the applicant to prepare immigration cases, communicate with employees in a timely and professional manner, follow instructions, work independently, manage company database, work at a fast-pace maintaining focus and attention to detail, and be a team player.
- Job Requirements:
Minimum 6months to 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk in immigration;
Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, etc.);
Fluency in English (speak, write & read)Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
Must be able to prioritize work and focus on deadlines;
Must be able to work independently on multiple projects and matters with minor supervision;
Must be able to write e-mails to clients concisely but eloquently;
Most importantly must be punctual and dependable.
- Job Duties:
Prepare & Print immigration applications to be filed.
Maintain files and update the case-tracking system;
Meet with employees to prepare and review applications for filing;
Answer phone, maintain voicemail, and respond to messages;
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the manager.
Schedules: monday to friday 8am - 5 pm (4 days office / 1 day remote)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
