Summary

The Dispensary Inventory Lead is responsible for managing policy and procedure, compliance,
inventory, receiving orders, and all other operational objectives of the Health for Life Store operations.
This position manages the inventory to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute all inventory specific initiatives.
  • Ensure the store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within the retail store.
  • Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the
organization’s goals.
  • Train employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of iAnthus and full support of our purpose, goal, and key
objectives.
  • Implementing inventory controls to track and account for all cannabis and non-cannabis products.
  • Implementing procedures and notification policies for proper disposal of wasted, returned, or
damaged products.
  • Oversee bulk packaging- Meet deadlines and ensure proper protocols are followed.
  • Maintaining records, including operating procedures, inventory records, audit records,
adjustments/variance reports, and transfer records
  • Proper storing, labeling, tracking, and reporting of inventory.
  • Ensure all menus are up to date and are consistent with other stores
  • Weekly online inventory scrub / backend integration update (uphold dutchie menu score)
  • Assist with inventory ordering and intake
  • Conducting weekly, monthly, and annual full inventory counts
  • Implement organizational system for products on sales floor and the vault
  • Maintaining protocols for Metrc tags
  • In store promotions- Update on Leafly and Dutchie and add discounts into the POS.
  • Document adjustments to bulk in METRC, assist in receiving products into Leaf Logix after
packaging has been completed.
  • Ensure all waste is documented properly and destroyed within allotted time per the MMCC
  • Keeping track of expiring products for in store specials and sending weekly reports to management,
adhering to FIFO.
  • This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the
operation including but not limited to: outreach, security, delivery, and visual merchandising

Qualifications and Education

  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights and/or weekends)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math skills
  • Participates and embraces a highly motivated team environment
  • Experience in a fast paced, high transaction environment, preferred
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Must be computer literate – POS experience is desirable
  • High school graduate
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as it pertains to NYS guidelines
  • Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experienced in a fast paced, high transaction environment.
  • Having good organizational skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts.
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension).
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
  • General office environment.
  • Extended computer usage.
  • Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and
  • Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
