Servers are responsible for providing friendly, excellent service to every customer who dines in assigned restaurant.

• Serves all beverages and ensures that glasses are full throughout the meal.
• Ensures that quality service is provided to each guest.
• Responsible for being familiar with the daily menu offering.
• Provides tray service for all orders.
• Responsible for the complete service of the table.
• Completes pre-running, and post shift side-work requirements.
• Meticulously cleans and resets dining room tables and booths.
• Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.
• Responsible for maintaining required levels of supplies in the dining room.
• Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
• Genuinely thanks the guest and completes any alcoholic beverage transactions.
• Adheres to all internal controls, policies, standards and procedures.
• Understands performance expectations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 year work experience in a restaurant, either front of house or back of house
• Must be able to obtain an alcohol beverage permit.
• Must be able to work different shifts and start times as needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers.
