Requirements

The individual we seek for this position is experienced in hardscape and landscape installation, who implements hardscape and landscape design plans for commercial and residential customers in the Shelby, North Carolina area. The Landscape and Hardscape Team Leaders are responsible for training and supervising one or more team members, while also performing a variety of landscaping construction duties, such as installing paver patios, retaining walls, Plants, Trees, garden ponds, and low voltage lighting, and Irrigation.

In this full-time seasonal position, you will regularly communicate and collaborate with other team leaders and coworkers and maintain relationships with external associates, such as group leaders, designers, clients, and others. Landscape and hardscape Team Leaders are responsible ensuring that all daily tasks are completed on schedule and according to quality standards.

A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the hardscape field is required, along with a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and an understanding of maintenance requirements related to hardscape, low voltage lighting, water features, and irrigation systems. Must be willing and able to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must be able to obtain in-house certifications after hire and must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked. Must be proficient in pulling a trailer. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in leadership and management.
