Center Point Energy is looking for Gas Specialist Apprentice 1-4 year to join our IGC Terre Haute District, located in Terre Haute, IN.

You will have the ability to: perform gas utility construction work activities according to classification.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Operate equipment used to perform main installs, leak investigations, and leak surveys.
• Serve on a 24-hour emergency watch peiodically.

Your background includes:

• High School diploma or GED

• Valid Drivers License

• Must be able to work safely outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.

• Must be located within 30 driving miles of the Operating Center

• Work overtime and serve on standby service watch.

A bonus to have:

• CDL or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire

• HVAC experience

• Mechanical aptitude
