Prep Cook & Line Cook

Waldo’s Chicken & Beer is looking for motivated prep and line cooks who want to work in the challenging environment of a high-volume, fast-paced scratch kitchen. KITCHEN LINE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to Waldo’s best-in-class status
• Work as a part of a team to execute food and service
• Control timeliness, consistency and quality of customer orders
• Preparing food in a made from scratch kitchen before and after service periods
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas

WORK CONDITIONS/HOURS:
Work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment to include but not limited to: gas fryers, oven, range, slicer, mixer and food processor. Hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Duties:

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
