Machine Operator - Hiring Job at National Oilwell Varco
Manufactures high quality fiberglass pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates winding machine
- Assist with monthly inventory for department
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years of verifiable work history
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
