We're looking for someone to join our team as a Manager, Medical Education who:

Supports the Director in developing, implementing, and monitoring activities related to the Family Medicine (FM) Residency Program and the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME). Activities will consist of oversight of FM residency, FM program leadership, faculty, and staff, and medical student FM rotations. Additionally, the individual in this position will serve as the liaison between the FM residency and accrediting bodies, monitoring and tracking compliance with FM and ACGME-related requirements.

Essential Functions:

· Participates in writing grant applications and provides overall fiscal and programmatic management for all residency/departmental grant activities. Participates in and provides oversight for medical education sub-committees focusing on faculty and resident scholarly activity, wellness, and diversity and inclusion efforts.

· Supports Director in providing direction and guidance in developing and implementing a broad range of administrative, planning, fiscal, personnel, and operational activities in support of all residency programs at the hospital. Provides managerial support and educational expertise to all residency programs as well as participates in hospital and departmental special projects. Develops systems and processes to support organizational change in response to evolving standards. Presents at national, regional, and local conferences, workshops, and on-site meetings.

· Ensures institution and all residency/fellowship programs remain in compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain full accreditation status. Responsible for the annual evaluation/counseling of Residency Program Coordinators within the FM, Internal Medicine (IM), and Obstetrics & Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) Programs.

· Supports Director and Program Directors in meeting to discuss and solve behavioral and academic issues with residents. Supports Director in guidance of Program Directors and faculty for all grievances and disciplinary issues. Supports Director in providing continuous education to program coordinators, program directors, and faculty. Collaborates in the support of Pharmacy and Chaplaincy Residencies as well as all other related activities.

· Responds to critical, often highly confidential, issues related to residents/fellows and chiefs/program directors on behalf of the director. Advises director on all aspects of departmental activities and recommends changes as needed.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

· Master's Degree: Preferred

Work Experience:

· Five years technical experience: Preferred

· One year's leadership experience: Preferred

The estimated base pay for this position is $73,717-$110,575 per year. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
