Summary:

Rogers Corporation is seeking a Research and Development Manager to lead new platform innovation efforts for its RF Signal Integrity business

Essential Functions:

• Leads R&D team to support strategic objectives
• Collaborates with marketing and commercial teams to identify new opportunities and establish priorities.
• Delivers new products and technology to support strategic objectives.
• Leads technology road-mapping efforts. Identifies, acquires or develops key technologies to maintain or establish leadership in key strategic markets.
• Recruits and develops world class technical talent.
• Optimizes portfolio investments and resources to deliver high returns on R&D investments.
• Utilizes common R&D management processes and participates in process improvement efforts.
• Manages Intellectual Property for the group.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• MS in an Engineering discipline, with emphasis in Material Science OR Mechanical OR RF Engineering
• 7+ years’ experience in R&D / New Product Development
• 5 years’ experience in managing R&D professionals and technicians
• Radio Frequency (RF) antenna design experience
• Successful product development history
• Experience in materials and material driven applications
• Experience in successful product and technology development
• Ability to successfully manage R&D technology development and innovation initiatives
• Understanding and success in risk management, resource planning, design control, product development and life cycle management
• Ability to interpret technology and market trends as a basis for technology and product roadmaps
• Experience with Stage-Gate process
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,300.00 - $192,100.00 per year
