Manufacturing Assembly - Technical Assistant

• Hiring for 2nd Shift (Mon - Thurs. 2:35pm-10:45pm, Fri. 2:35pm-12:25am)
• Starting at $18.50/hr. plus 10% Shift Differential

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has immediate openings for Manufacturing Assemblers / Technical Assistants on our 2nd shift performing Electronics Assembly at our manufacturing facility in Ashland. In this position, you would be a key part of the production or materials handling teams. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom products to meet the needs of our worldwide customers
• Learn how to identify electronic components and hand-solder circuit boards
• Learn our inventory management system and enter materials transactions
• Perform light electrical and mechanical assembly operations
• Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders
• Work with material handling equipment to transport materials

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work 2nd shift (Mon- Thurs. 2:35pm-10:45pm, Fri. 2:35pm-12:25am)
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
• Ability to stand for extended period of time
• Ability to move to surrounding workstations
