Marketing Intern

Baird, Hampton & Brown Inc. is a multi–discipline engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 30 years in the industry. The Fort Worth office is looking to hire a paid Marketing Intern to work during the summer and possibly into the fall semester.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains marketing information systems (client files, resume and project description files, mailing list, etc.).
• May provide word-processing support for the marketing effort, including proposals, general marketing correspondence, and government forms.
• With direction, completes government forms and assembles qualifications packages of existing marketing materials.
• May draft general proposal sections and marketing correspondence.
• Assists in the production of marketing documents (binding, duplication, etc.)
• Provides assistance with updating and maintaining Social Media and Website Information
• Help Coordinate internal communications and events

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A flexible attitude and ability to manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of database concepts
• Must have excellent attention to detail along with good planning, organization, and time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
• Adobe Suite experience (InDesign) preferred.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

This is an in-office, part-time, non-exempt position. Flexible scheduling is offered, but a minimum of 20 hours is expected.

Travel

There is no anticipated overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may be required.
