Our office is seeking an exceptional individual to join our incredible team as a Medical Assistant! We are a fast-paced, growing, medical office in Columbia, MO, that is unmatched by our competition. Our fun, family-like work environment is unrivaled.

The Medical Assistant will provide excellent care to patients both in person or over the phone. We are recruiting for an individual who is dependable, pleasant to work with, is a self-starter, pays attention to detail and provides exceptional patient care. Great customer service skills are a must!

This position assists with maintaining patient flow and this person must be able to interact with patients, staff and the physician in a professional manner. This is a very fast-paced office setting and one must be able to multi-task to meet the needs of all. A solid work ethic is a must!

One full-time position is open immediately, with hours occurring between Monday-Friday 7:30a.m.-6:00p.m. with occasional Saturdays. No Nights, No Call, and No Holidays.

We are willing to train the right person with limited experience if they possess the right attitude, willingness to learn, and work ethic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtain Vital Signs and Complete Patient Check-In process.
• Assist physician with various procedures. Sets up various equipment and instruments as required for procedures.
• Answer patient/family questions and concerns.
• Maintains appropriate documentation of procedures in the medical records, records vital signs and other pertinent medical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Completion of prior authorizations.
• Maintains cleanliness of exam rooms and keeps supplies neat and well-stocked.
• Screens and returns phone calls to patients under the direction of the physician.
• Be a team player!
• Provides patient education about various procedures.
• Monitors patients appropriately following procedures and documents.
• Scans and files documents. Daily Chart Preparation.
• Various other duties as assigned

Compensation starting at $18.00/hr.

This position is benefit eligible with hours occurring Mon-Friday between 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. with an occasional Saturdays. There is NO CALL, NO NIGHTS and NO HOLIDAYS with this position.
