VibrantCare is currently seeking an engaging and energetic FULL TIME 8a-5p- Front Office Desk/ Patient Care Aide for our Outpatient Physical Therapy in Oakland, CA. Excellent opportunity to be an ACTIVE part of a healthcare team that is dedicated to the patients and community they serve.

MUST have strong organization skills, be a fast learner and able to take charge of the front desk as well as support the clinicians with patient care.

Essential Functions:

Assist the PT/OT with both patient-related and non-patient related tasks

Non-Patient related tasks may include:

• Participation in quality assurance activities
• Patient Chart creation
• Copay collection
• General cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of therapeutic and gym equipment and high-touch surfaces
• Laundering and refreshing of linens
• Participation in emergency preparedness drills and exercises
• Participation in compliance-related education and training
• Other "office" type tasks as needed

Patient-related tasks may include:

• Assisting the PT with patient transportation/transfers and gait training
• Assisting the PT/OT with set-up and application of thermal and electrical modalities
• Assisting the PT/OT with supervising therapeutic exercise programs
• Assisting the PT/OT with the assembly and production of hard copy and digital home exercise programs

Candidates should have the following:

• Enthusiasm, high energy and a good conversationalist- REQUIRED
• Medical Office experience/ education- Preferred
