OFFICE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:
MATT Construction is seeking an Office Manager to join their well-established and successful construction company. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, a positive attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm, dependability, and trustworthiness. Prior construction experience is a plus.
This job offers a great opportunity for involvement with all levels of internal staff including the C-Suite. This individual will wear many hats as this position includes supervision, organizing company events and meetings, inventory control, project archives, jobsite mobilizations, negotiating vendor contracts and preparing and overseeing a budget.
The successful candidate will have the following:
· Resourceful and competent, ability to accomplish tasks without assistance and sees tasks through to completion.
· Initiative and anticipate the needs of others.
· Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
· Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office Application (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent sense of organization and attention to detail
· Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
· Experience with budgets and leases (office, jobsite trailers, equipment, etc.).
· Experience negotiating contracts with vendors.
· Active interest in the well-being of the company.
OFFICE MANAGER JOB DUTIES:
· Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
· Maintains staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
· Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
· Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of construction project records.
· Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, tenant improvements, office relocations, supply, and equipment procurement.
· Organize company events or meetings.
· Book long-term housing accommodations for staff, including interns.
· Oversee jobsite mobilizations and de-mobilizations.
· Supervise the organization of the offsite warehouse and determine supply needs and/or removal of items no longer in working order. Manage the construction and PPE apps and keep Accounting informed of products, equipment, etc. used by the various jobsites.
· Maintain Emergency Action Plan for Santa Fe Springs office and distribute the EAP from the other satellite offices. Ensure training is provided.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
