Job Summary:
The Office Manager oversees the administrative and clerical/office support operations of the agency and provides administrative assistance to the CEO and Executive Management team and is the liaison to the Board of Directors. The Office Manager maintains contracts with vendors and ensures there is no disruption in office functions, serves as a positive role model, and has excellent customer skills. He/she is responsible for creating warm, responsive interaction between our Home Health Hospice Agency and our internal and external customers. This position calls for flexibility, tact, sensitivity, excellent interpersonal skills, ongoing provision of excellence in customer service, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff. Preservation of confidentiality from all aspects of this position is mandatory. The office manager works closely with all organization staff and is accountable to the CEO and President
Essential Qualifications: Associate's Degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field required, bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Must possess strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to exercise initiative and judgment in effectively planning and organizing. Must also be able to communicate effectively, both orally and written with all levels of the organization and to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information. Must have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as a team and be proficient in using Microsoft Office software. Must have or be able to obtain Notary Public credentials and BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
