Richardson Hospice Resale Store has an immediate opening for a forty hours a week Operations Associate.

Assists the RRS Manager in day-to-day operations, manages all aspects of RRS Volunteer program, provides support to RRS Associates, assists with opening/closing, participates in weekend rotation and other needed duties. Adheres to SSRCH policies and reflects the SSRCH brand

Job Duties:

• Manages all RRS Volunteer recruitment, training, retaining.
• Manages RRS Volunteer activities: assignment of duties, recordkeeping, scheduling, volunteer training, resolving issues and creating a wonderful volunteer experience.
• Collaborates with SSRCH Volunteer Coordinators: recruitment and onboarding of RRS Volunteers.
• Provides Register Volunteers with Point of Sales (POS) training and support.
• Assists RRS Manager in providing ongoing Volunteer training as related to SSRCH mission and RRS.
• Supports and participates in day-to-day operations: processing donations, pricing, identifying Ecommerce product and providing excellent services to both customers and donors.
• Coordinates the process for bi-monthly retrieval and pick-up of donations.
• Is scheduled for weekend rotations (2 times per month)
• Maintains a safe and clean store environment.
• Participates in SSRCH-provided education and employee meetings.
• Assist in needs in any capacity with other duties as assigned by the RRS Manager.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree preferred Retail, Business and Hospitality.
• Familiar with using Point of Sales software
• Prefer experiences with: Retail / resale or customer services, management and volunteer programs.
