Summary
The Supervisor, Operations position will function in a supervisory capacity, and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all production related activities associated with the Casa Grande VPC. This position will oversee production staff, instruct team members to properly use equipment, perform technical procedures, and assist with hiring, disciplining, and training as needed.
Responsibilities
- Primary
- Direct operational and production related activities
- Meet production goals
- Resolves unusual or nonscheduled customer requests, and respond with creative ideas to overcome challenges with work flow
- Understands, implements, and maintains safe work practices
- Supervise full-time and temporary employees, oversee and instruct on proper vehicle processing procedure
- Oversee performance management initiatives
- Optimize work schedules to match staffing levels, create work assignments and monitor progress to improve work process efficiency
- Coordinates with other departments and customers to meet production goals
- Conduct employee observations to ensure safety and productivity procedures are being followed; documents and discuss results with employees
- Confer with manager to coordinate operations and activities and report any and all violations to management
- Guide and assist team members in daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
- Assist with and/or perform vehicle handling audits as required.
- Assist with department training programs for current and new employees
- Supply and recommend necessary changes or modifications to the operation
- Secondary
- Provide periodic updates of vehicle processing tender goals in order to meet customer deadlines.
- Performs administrative activities, including reviewing and providing status reports to next level management.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Review daily logs and reports to detect recurring slowdowns or errors.
- Prepare and maintain production reports to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide data for reporting KPI's.
- Respond to unsafe conditions or hazardous waste.
- Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
- Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

- Communicate by telephone, two-way radio, and in-person in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with all customers, guests, team members, etc.
- Interact with customers to provide information and data transmission within different systems
- Facilitate communication with customers for any potential claims or vehicle delay

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 5-8 years in Customer Service/Production environment required
- Driver's License required
