Part Time Delivery Driver Job at Conroe Greenhouses, Inc.
We are now needing Part Time drivers. Please note that while our name is "Conroe", we are located between New Waverly and Huntsville, TX off of Hwy 75.
Position does require morning availability and applicant must be over the age of 21.
Conroe Greenhouses, a wholesale bedding plant grower, is in need of a driver for delivery of live plants. Daily deliveries include early mornings M-F. No overnight deliveries. Trucks are a 24' bobtail box with a liftgate on the rear. Drivers need to be able to push and pull heavy plant racks off and on the trucks.
We are seeking drivers with the following attributes:
- Personable, honest, and trustworthy
- Self Motivated - Be on time - Strong back and in good physical condition
- Capable of loading and unloading plant trays to and from plant racks
- Ability to move heavy plants racks on and off truck liftgate required.
- Able to obtain a Class B CDL, but not required
- Pass a DOT physical and drug testing
- Have a clean driving record
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No nights
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
