The care provided by Comfort Keepers is designed to help seniors and other adults have a quality of life and stay in their own home.
This position is for a Caregiver/CNA must be able to work Monday through Friday. No weekends, No Holidays. Must be able to work with all clients in Baxter, Crosslake, Nisswa, Crosby, Deerwood areas.
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
- Meal planning, cooking and baking
- Conversation and companionship
- Interactive Caregiving
- Errands and transportation
- Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
- Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
- Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
- Assistance with medication
- Dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- End of life care
- Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
- Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required throughout your work day
- Driver's License
- 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver
- High School Diploma or GED
- State and Federal background check and fingerprinting
- Help both male and female clients with personal cares
- Lift 50 pounds safely
- Work history that shows excellent attendance
- Work history that show job retention
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Positive work references
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Professional image
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
