Performance Director, Paid Channels
who demonstrates the following skills and brings the following experience:
- 5+ years of eCommerce experience in an advertising or media agency – tourism or hospitality experience required
- 5+ years of experience with project/account management
- 5+ years of experience working with mid-senior level clients to understand the motivation, timeframe and acceptable level of effort for tasks
- 5+ years creating performance driven strategies for hospitality, travel and tourism
- 5+ years experience with Web analytics systems (e.g., Google Analytics) and Certified in Advanced Google Analytics
- Preference for additional certifications relevant to hospitality, travel and tourism
- Possess exceptional leadership skills
- Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed
- Able to shift priorities quickly and examine issues both strategically and tactically
- Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
- Able to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision
- Willing to take direction if and when needed, but also work independently
- Able to respond positively to client and peer criticism and feedback
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally
- Display a dependable, strong work ethic

Job Snapshot: The Performance Director (Paid Channels) is responsible for planning and implementing strategic marketing plans for Miles Partnership’s clients; accountable for client goals; eCommerce performance and reporting KPIs; growing and maintaining client relationships; managing workflow for performance team deliverables; and serving in a highly visible role as liaison between the clients and our internal teams. Our Performance Director (Paid Channels) simultaneously manages multiple paid channel programs and is able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, adapting quickly to changing client needs and deadlines.
Essential Duties:
- Strategic Planning and Education
- Leverages data, insights and digital strategies to achieve business objectives and goals for our Hospitality clients
- Serves as the eCommerce advisor to clients and internal teams; including defining success criteria(s) and KPI metrics by property
- Participates with our internal teams and external clients in the development of each client's paid eCommerce plan
- Attends strategy meetings with account services teams to present recommended strategies, KPIs and media performance that align with client goals
- Stays on top of industry trends and shares research findings with the team, always looking for new and emerging opportunities to move our client’s business forward and stay ahead of industry changes
- Collaborates with and educates internal teams to expand their knowledge and build confidence in articulating strategies and performance
- Assists with new business Requests for Proposals and presentations
- Performance Team Leader
- Manages all aspects of employee management and engagement, including daily hours reporting and performance
- eCommerce Performance Operations
- Directs the overall paid eCommerce vision focused on driving traffic, engagement, conversion, and digital revenue for our hotel and resort clients
- Develops, implements and maintains strategic marketing plans for clients across multiple eCommerce channels, i.e. Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor
- Collaborates and/or manages platform-specific initiatives to support eCommerce for our clients (including SEM, social media, Expedia, Yelp and others)
- Identifies the most cost-effective mix by market for evolving client goals and objectives
- Researches new eCommerce channels and paid Hospitality-specific programs
- Works with internal teams to ensure that campaigns are launched on time and optimized to budget and KPIs
- Reporting
- Collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure proper tag set-up and pixel management for reporting of KPIs
- Partners with internal team to develop dashboards and presentations to report on meaningful metrics directly to clients
- Directs optimization efforts on paid campaigns to improve KPIs set by client
- Troubleshoots under-performing campaigns and recommends new tactics to increase performance
