The Legal product and engineering teams are responsible for ensuring that Pinterest complies with all regulations in ways that scale, as well as advocating for Pinner privacy, data governance, rights holders and teen safety.
What you'll do:
- Understand legislative landscape, both globally and domestically, to inform product and engineering prioritization
- Develop legal compliance roadmap and lead key projects, partnering with Legal, Operations, Policy, Engineering and Product teams across Pinterest
- Optimize internal tools and processes to increase the efficiency of our Legal Operations team
- Lead cross-functional Trust & Safety projects, partnering with product teams across Pinterest to ensure legal compliance
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies
- Experience and demonstrated passion for legal and/or privacy-related initiatives
- Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment
- Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
- Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders
- Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking
