Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Production Engineering team and supervised by the Production Engineering and Operational Subsurface manager. This role will be primarily work with the following topics: Well integrity analysis and support (tools, tests), well intervention and workover activities (Open wells tool, daily programs, site visits), troubleshooting plunger lift wells (plunger type, plunger settings, etc.), surveillance of unconventional wells (nodal analysis, production history analysis, decline curve and volumetric analyses into reservoir evaluation). Participate in forecasting to both existing wells and new drills.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Fully authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering post-secondary program, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum and Civil.
  • Minimum of a 3.2 GPA strongly preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate a diverse array of technical and strategic topics.
  • Detail-oriented, a strong analytical background.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a variety of technical and non‑technical staff.
  • Able to work independently and within in a team.
  • Professional conduct is fundamental to success in this position.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
