LAND Remediation is seeking highly motivated Project Superintendents to join our team. LAND Remediation is based out of Waterford, NY but travel is required. Projects are located within New York State, New England, and the greater Northeast.

Job Summary: The project superintendent will be responsible for managing daily operations on projects ranging from $500K to $20M. The project superintendent will report to the corporate management team while coordinating and communicating with field crews, clients, oversight engineers, and construction workeragers. Work will encompass all aspects of the civil / marine / remediation industry including planning to project execution. Project superintendents will assist and support company growth, diversification, maintaining and expanding customer base, and junior staff development.

Core Job Duties:

· Encourage and positively contribute to the company’s strong safety culture

· Work closely with clients in a professional manner and display a solution based attitude

· Review, comprehend, and evaluate project plans and specifications

· Assist with the planning of projects including quantity takeoffs, execution and approach, labor equipment, and material requirements

· Direct and oversee field personnel

· Coordinate with subcontractors

· Document daily activities and work performed

· Work closely with clients in a professional manner and display a solution based attitude

· Mentor and grow junior staff

· Positively contribute to the overall growth and improvement of the company’s reputation, market share, and operations

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering is preferred. Undergraduate degrees in environmental studies, chemistry, business, geology, construction workeragement or related fields acceptable

· 5-10 years of experience in heavy civil, remediation, marine, or geotechnical industry

· Detail oriented, strong leaderships and interpersonal skills, versatile, and possess a strong work ethic

· Understanding of survey and construction layout, GPS experience preferred

· Proficient with general computer programs and software

· 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
