Unique Opportunity available for a highly qualified and motivated Registered Dietitian to work in an upscale environment at the region's leading Preventive Medicine Center in Shelton, CT. We offer a great place to work and motivated, intelligent patients who are truly interested in your advice.

You will provide individual nutritional assessments, weight loss counseling and other dietary advice to up to three new patients daily. Our dietitians collaborate with an expert medical team and exercise physiologists to develop appropriate nutritional care plans based on extensive and comprehensive evaluation of our patients medical risk factors and current health. You will create a detailed nutrition plan and provide follow up support to patients.

This position offers weekly hours from 8AM to 4:30PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No holidays, nights, weekends or changing shifts.

We require at least a Bachelors Degree, Master's preferred, in Nutrition and you must be a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. You must have a minimum of 2+ years experience, preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience in counseling patients with cardiac risk factors, Metabolic Syndrome, diabetes, and weight issues is preferred. You must also have excellent writing and word processing skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Diet Analysis software programs such as Food Processor.
