This role will be compensated on a 100 % commission basis, however a “draw” against expected commission is available.

U.S. consumer retail ecommerce sales for just the third quarter of 2021 totaled $204.6 billion. Including international and B2B segments, it was $4.9 trillion in 2021. This figure is forecast to grow by 50 percent over the next four years, reaching $7.4 trillion.
The quiet, complex beneficiary of this massive activity is packaging. Merchant Boxes is focused on tipping the scales in favor of innovative producers by creating impactful experiences for the consumer via innovative package design. Clients will come for innovative design services and consultative insights and stay for a best-in-class supply chain and replenishment strategy.

As Sales Account Executive, you will own:
- Executing the business growth strategy
- Manage full-cycle business opportunities from lead generation through deal close; selling a repeatable and sustainable suite of services including: innovative packaging design, order management system automation and integration and supply chain, logistics and packaging consulting.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements, as well as researching relevant targets to develop lead lists and identify new sales opportunities
- Partner with the packaging design and supply chain functions to deliver best in class experiences to the customer
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Customer Success, this role is ideally suited for a person with the following experience and qualifications:
- Substantial and meaningful experience and success in direct sales
- Substantial and meaningful experience in packaging industries; experience with startups is a major plus
- Knowledge of experiential packaging sales.
- No-ego with a can-do attitude and roll-up-the-sleeves attitude that instills confidence through collaboration and influencing
- Gravitas; you carry yourself with confidence and speak clearly with conviction
- Entrepreneurial with a high level of energy and drive; passionate about making an impact in the e-commerce industry through packaging innovation
- Highly analytical and metrics-driven
