SANITATION SITE SUPERVISOR (ONSITE)

- *POSITION SUMMARY
Partner Therapeutics’ Plant Services Team is responsible for performing all levels of cleaning from specialized disinfecting/sanitizing in the Manufacturing and Production support areas as well as housekeeping of administrative and common spaces at PTx’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Lynnwood, WA. Work performed in the GxP spaces is completed per Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”) and in compliance with Current Good Practice (“cGxP”) guidelines.
- Shift: Monday thru Friday – 3:30pm – 12:00am
- Compensation (DOE) – $80,000 – $110,000 base plus annual cash bonus potential
- Paid Time Off – 19 paid vacation/personal holidays, 15 company-wide paid holidays (includes plant shutdown between Christmas and New Years)
- Sick time: Up to 6 days of paid sick leave
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hires, trains, develops, and retains a team of up to 5 direct reports: This team is comprised of both regular, full-time Partners as well as temporary employees
- Establishes department training plans and periodically assesses suitability based on direct reports’ advancement. Ensures direct reports are always properly trained on assignments and techniques.
- Develops and applies knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to the Plant cleaning process. Reviews and revises cleaning SOPs as needed, and leads the continuous improvement of facility sanitation
- Maintains aseptic conditions in all environmentally controlled (clean room) areas according to specific instructions, cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and safety rules
- Creates and maintains cleaning schedules to meet Production needs and changes
- Orders and maintains cleaning equipment and sufficient supplies for cleaning responsibilities
- Reviews and signs off on all cleaning records ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and legibility per applicable SOPs. Reports discrepancies observed by team or self into the system of record (CMMS/AMS) per SOP
- Works cross functionally with internal customers and responds quickly to special cleaning requests
- Ensures the safety of staff via regular in-person checks-ins, work-alongs, and proper use of mandated PPE
- Develops agendas and facilitates pre- and post-shift team meetings
- Reviews and approves staff timesheets
- Fills in for Sanitation Techs when necessary

- Demonstrates ability to put plans together to manage resources to execute a project and to organize workloads
- Track record of consistently using provided tools, job aids, etc. to manage direct reports

- Comfortable operating in an evolving, complex, and dynamic environment, while providing clear direction and instruction to the team
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP cleaning requirements in a highly regulated environment (preferably pharmaceutical) required
- Proficient in clean room gowning requirements
- Knowledge of and experience with the proper handling and mixing chemicals
- Possesses a strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency (when necessary) and the ability to work unsupervised
- Possesses effective English communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven skills in authoring and reviewing SOPs, on-the-job-trainings, and other controlled documents
- Familiarity with and ability to learn online quality, asset tracking, and facility management systems such as CMMS/AMS, MasterControl, etc.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 7+ years progressively responsible experience in facility operations and/or facility technician work required
- 3+ years of supervisory experience with multiple direct reports required
- Experience working in a facilities organization in a cGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or a related highly regulated environment required
- Experience with cleanroom gowning required; prior trainer-qualified designation preferred
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Prolonged walking, standing and/or sitting
- Regular use, donning and doffing of cleanroom-specific PPE
- Ability to lift, move, pull up to 25 pounds
