The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking classroom based SAT/ACT tutors to instruct one or more SAT Prep classes at local high schools in Commack, NY.
The Position:
- Teach SAT or ACT test preparation to students in grades 9-12 after school
- Regular weekly schedule
- Curriculum provided
Requirements:
- An earned Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college
- A passion for helping others learn
- Exceptionally gifted communication skills
- Strong past SAT or ACT scores
- The ability to teach all sections of the SAT or the ACT
- At least 1 year of mentoring, tutoring, or teaching experience
- A willingness to travel locally
Compensation:
- $45-$50/hr with upside
