As a Senior Architect, you will be an integral member of a highly creative, in-house multi-disciplinary team dedicated to innovative problem-solving and design excellence. You will support our highly collaborative architectural design studio in a fully integrated A&E practice to meet our clients ever-changing needs and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and construction of facilities and structures for our clients requiring advanced planning and building techniques. Position is located in Phoenix, AZ (relocation assistance may be available).
Collaborating in our fast-paced environment with other members of our team, you will work across all phases of design, performing conceptual and detailed design tasks. You will oversee design and construction activities, studies, and various analyses, leading design coordination across architecture and engineering disciplines. Working with our team’s architects and designers, you will help develop design solutions and lead the group to communicate design requirements in project drawings and models. As part of the Electronics architecture group, you will also have an opportunity to provide technical guidance and supervision to junior team members, help your team discover what drives them, nurture their purpose, and guide them forward. Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from accredited Architectural program
- Professional Architecture license in AZ
- At least 10 years of experience
- Knowledge of principles and practices of building material technology and detailing
- Working knowledge building codes and specifications
- Revit experience
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Advanced facilities building design experience, such as semiconductor, industrial, or manufacturing
- Commitment to quality, exhibiting a high level of attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to provide technical guidance and coaching to designers and less-experienced architects
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership experience motivating and coordinating small to medium architecture teams
- Ability to work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner, and able to help others do the same
- Awareness of sustainable and emerging technologies
- Sketch up, Adobe Suite, and InDesign skills
- LEED accreditation
