With regulatory changes on the horizon, our clients have a growing need for experienced management consultants who hold expertise in this area. The role requires strong analytical skills and the knowledge or ability to acquire Basel III rules experience for Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and Supplementary Leverage Exposures. In order to assist our clients in dealing with constant change, we are seeking business analysts with regulatory and management reporting experience. The incumbent should have prior exposure to Basel modeling and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for successful and timely delivery of RWA milestones and deliverables along with BAU remediation for Wholesale exposures.
  • Document and execute processes and controls and identify related process or control gaps for calculation aggregation and reporting (from authorized redistributors to reporting systems), including Standardized and Advanced Approaches, to demonstrate compliance with US Basel regulation and related supervisory guidance; and remediate any identified gaps through the ongoing issue management process.
  • Define, develop, and establish robust control processes that can effectively demonstrate US Basel III regulatory capital requirements are applied in an accurate and appropriate manner.
  • Drive the diagnostics and remediation activities of a broad range of regulatory capital calculations that encompass governance, data and non-data controls, processes, system implementation and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in transformation roles in Financial Institutions with reasonable understanding of Advanced and Standardized US regulatory capital rules for Wholesale exposures.
  • Basel III and Basel III reforms.
  • Strong familiarity with banking and market products and processes.
  • High intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access ability.
  • Experience performing financial research and analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAS, Python, R Studio preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and deliver timely results.
  • Communicate well with multiple stakeholder groups to demonstrate RWA integrity to accomplish regulatory compliance goals.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Management (Master’s Degree / MBA preferred).

BIP provides a reasonable range of compensation for our roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, level of experience, and knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
