Server Komyuniti Position Overview:

We are seeking professional serverss who are energetic, responsible and able to work in a customer service focused fast-paced environment. Additional skills include the ability to multitask, work as a team, and service customers with a smile. TIPS certified is a plus. Full-time availability able to work weekday and weekend shifts. Our servers are responsible for greeting and serving YOTEL Boston’s guests in a genuine and friendly manner. Servers rs are required to prepare beverages requested by guests and monitor guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers; check identification whenever the age of a guest requesting alcoholic beverage service is questionable. Komyuniti is the hotel's signature 1st floor restaurant with both inside and outside seating and great views of the city! This position is an hourly position with the rate of pay of $17.80 an hour.

Server Komyuniti Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interact with guests while obtaining their orders and enter into POS for preparation.
• Full knowledge of the restaurant and bar menu being able to answers all questions regarding the menus accurately.
• Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, work area, dining room and bar.
• Abide by all State, Federal, and YOTEL Boston requirements pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare workstation for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift.
• Follow all cash handling and bank operating procedures
• Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.
• While interacting with guests inform them of enhancements to their dining experience.
• In order to be efficient each server will restock items, return menus, and other equipment used throughout their shift so that the incoming shift is prepared for success.
• Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
• Servers may be required to prepare beverages requested by guests and monitor guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease.
