Server/Waiter/Waitress Job at New Haven Country Club
Private Country Club is seeking professional part or full time a'la carte servers and banquet servers.
Positions are available immediately. MUST have a minimum of 2 years of serving experience.
Wait Staff Responsibilities:
-Greeting club members and showing them to their table.
-Preparing tables, ensuring they are clean and fully set for dining services and events
-Maintaining knowledge of the complete menu, daily specials, and available food/beverages
-Presenting customers with the menu, informing them of daily specials, and taking orders.
-Performing shift duties like prepping the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris, etc.
-Delivering food and beverages in a timely manner.
-Attending to tables and ensuring customer satisfaction.
-Strictly adhering to food, sanitary, and safety standards.
Wait Staff Requirements:
-Minimum 1-year server experience is REQUIRED.
-Applicants must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays if necessary.
-Experience using digital POS ordering systems.
-Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
-Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent customer service skills are a MUST.
-Good physical condition - Job requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy items, trays, tables, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
