Job Title: SSA Clerk.

Job Location: Pontiac, MI

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17/hr Negotiable

This is a Shipping and Logistics Clerk. Ideal candidate should have experience with an ERP software like 'CMM' or 'Plex' or 'Oracle JDE' or 'MGO'

IMPORTANT: This position is located in Pontiac, MI but all candidates MUST be able to attend an in-person interview and 2 weeks training at the Romulus plant and then move to the actual job location in Pontiac, MI.

Shift: Day 6.30 AM - 3 PM. Monday - Saturday.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
MUST have strong experience with an ERP software like Oracle “JDE” or MGO. Receive inbound/outbound conveyances within the ERP systems recording, finalizing, and ensuring inventory integrity of material within the four walls of the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review all incoming documentation covering supplier shipments to RGL Review all outbound documentation covering RGL shipments to GM Print and issue daily picks to the floor for outbound shipments Send and Receive ASN’s as required utilizing GM’s MGO system Enter all receipts for parts and supply items in RGL’s ERP Execute daily dock schedule and update all inbound and outbound information as required Contact trucking companies obtain verification and confirm that shipping information is correct as required Coordinate dock position with the floor supervisor for all inbound and outbound loads Communicate with and direct all inbound and outbound transportation traffic Ensure all inbound/outbound drivers follow RGL’s “Dock Safety Protocol” Maintain receiving and shipping files Participate in annual physical inventory Print Receiving labels and distribute to the floor Supervisor Print, scan and file all inbound “Supply” item paperwork Submit inbound discrepancy reports to the MFC when applicable Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong communications skills and ability to work as a team player Ability to recognize potential problems, analyzes the problem and provide a solution Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks Computer literate MGO and Oracle / JDE knowledge is a plus

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent plus one to three years’ experience Some college preferred
