Wanted: Sound Designer for an Internationally renowned award-winning dramatic audiobook entertainment company. The job requires a sound engineer who can create soundscapes and tell stories solely through the audio medium. Applicants should have an eye and ear for books, movies, and television shows to be part of the creative production team. Responsibilities:
The Sound Designer may create sound effects, atmospheres, sonic textures, and filmic ambiences that will create naturalistic and abstract worlds for the show's story, as well as aid the listener's emotional and dramatic connection with the performance. The Sound Designer may choose, edit and remix music or may compose original music. The Sound Designer works closely with the Creative Director in creating soundscapes, the placement of special effects, and Foley and musical scoring on assigned GraphicAudio productions.
- Record and edit vocal performances;
- Assemble vocal performances into "radio play" format;
- Post Production Editing - Tell the story through audio by adding cinematic sound effects and music (we have stock music libraries, but music can be original);
- Meet pressing deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work.
Requirements:
- An eye and an ear for what constitutes an effective sound scene
- Knowledge of REAPER preferred, but not required;
- Energy, self-motivation, flexibility, and drive;
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful production environment;
-Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a part of a team;
-Must have the legal right to work in the United States and required to show proof;

Starting Salary - $32,400 per year with benefits and performance-based bonuses. SALARY Non-Negotiable. Growth Potential.
