A little about this role:
As a Trade Show and Events Specialist, you are responsible for planning all tradeshows and events. This role is responsible for managing all facets of company tradeshows including Expos, Distributor Tradeshows, and our National Sales Meeting (just to name a few).
A day in the life:
- Show Planning – As a Tradeshow and Events Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating tradeshow events. These events include:
- Expo East (Fall-Baltimore, MD); Expo West (Spring-Anaheim, CA) – Travel will be required for the Expo shows. Responsibilities are for intense show preparation. Partner with Tradeshow Coordinator team to prepare for shows, including but not limited to:
- Hotels, registration/badges, exhibitor booth lists, contacts, ground transportation (including ride arrangements, and directions as necessary), show folders for executives/MW attendees.
- Distributor Tradeshows – plan, execute and attend as necessary.
- Sales Meeting – plan, execute and attend our Presence National Sales Meeting.
- Assist in planning and attending other various tradeshow and industry/company events.

- Communication is key – You are expected to have value-added, solution-oriented, positive and timely communication (both internally and externally). Utilizing our tools to communicate both internally and externally on successes, challenges and day to day opportunities.
- Attention to Detail - the ability to complete all tasks and submissions timely and with accuracy is critical. Being able to multitask and prioritize workload is essential.

What we are looking for:
- Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and issues
- Knowledge and interest of the natural products/brands and retail landscape is a plus
- Proficient computer (MS Office applications) and data-mining skills
- Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Strong selling skills - negotiation, presentation and public speaking
- Ability to manage time and deadlines
