Keslow Camera is a rental house that provides camera systems for feature films, television shows, commercials, and other various media outlets. Keslow Camera is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the Culver City, CA location.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for complete, accurate and timely completion of all general ledger activities. The successful Staff Accountant will exhibit individual initiative and will be comfortable communicating with vendors, government agencies, co-workers, and management. Crucial aspects of this role include maintaining high levels of accuracy, workload prioritization, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles

· Monitor, review and verify accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness

· Reconcile and record daily deposits

· Track daily bank activity including ACH activity, positive pay upload or resolving any issues

· Review and record bi-weekly payroll

· File tax returns including monthly sales tax remittances and annual 1099 submissions

· Complete monthly closing process

· Reconcile bank accounts

· Prepare general ledger entries and maintain supporting records

· Ensure invoices are properly uploaded from internal operating system to Quickbooks

· Review general ledger accounts to ensure transactions are properly recorded

· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable department

· Work on special projects assigned by the CFO

· Coordinate and complete requests from external auditors

Qualifications:

· 3-5 Years of accounting experience preferred

· A degree or substantial amount of school credit in Accounting/Finance

· Exceptional internal customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)

· Detail-oriented

· Familiarity with Mac operating system and Quickbooks
